The ruins revealed the arrival of Kado Thorne through murals, glyphs and The Apparatus announcing an Eclipse that should be astrologically impossible. The glyphs also mentioned his Time Machine, which Doctor Slone wanted to use to save the islanders from the arrival of the other enemies predicted by Optimus Prime and the impending collapse of Reality Zero.

Each dragon follows its own looping route, which we’ve broken down in more detail below. But there are times when dragons might be slightly outside their corresponding regions.
Once fully aboveground, Dinraal will sail north through the skies over Deep Akkala before hanging west and traveling just north of Death Mountain. After passing by the Great Hyrule Forest, Dinraal will return to the Depths by diving into the Drenan Highlands Chasm.

A big incentive to track down the four dragons is to farm dragon parts. They make for a great Fuse combination, as they add a ton of damage and also imbue the weapon with the elemental power of the dragon. They’re also great for cooking recipes and elixirs, and necessary for certain armor upgrades.
Dinraal Materials can be obtained by attacking specific parts of Dinraal while riding it. The corresponding parts and materials are shown in the table above, so choose which part to attack depending on the material you want or need.

Dinraal guards the Spring of Power. While she cannot be defeated, she does not actively try to harm Link. However, if Link gets too close, he will be seared by the fire emanating from her body, unless he possesses a full set of Fireproof Armor that has been enhanced twice by a Great Fairy. Dinraal will drop different Materials if Link shoots her with a Bow. Depending on what part of Dinraal is hit, she will drop a Shard of Dinraal’s Horn, Shard of Dinraal’s Fang, Dinraal’s Claw or Dinraal’s Scale.
You can often spot him appearing from the East Akkala Plains Chasm, directly east of the Ulri Mountain Skyview Tower, before he floats along the coastline towards the Akkala Ancient Tech Lab, and then cuts across west past Skull Lake and continues on the northern slopes of Death Mountain. He’ll finally curve around the Thyphlo Ruins Skyview Tower before disappearing into the nearby Drenan Highlands Chasm.
